In RISAFloor ES, you can quickly thicken the slab in the column strip area with the Drop Panel tool. The column strip is typically the area of highest demand so increasing the thickness may help optimize the concrete usage.
In RISAFloor ES, you draw a support line from support point to support point to define the Design Strips. The program will automatically create Design Strips based on the tributary width. When you have walls in the model, it is often a question of how you draw in the support lines.

RISAFoundation now has the ability to automatically generate a circular slab with just a few easy clicks. Using the generator the program will create the mat slab and tank loading all in one easy step. Go to the Insert menu and select "Circular Foundation".
