Vertical Brace Connections per Canadian Code now Available

RISAConnection Version 8.0 now offers Vertical Brace Diagonal Connections, the Vertical Chevron Brace Connection, and the Knee Brace Connection according to the Canadian (CSA S16-09 or CSA S16-14) design codes.

The design of these connections is similar to designs already implemented for the AISC design codes including; load analysis types, limit state checks, Whitmore Section checks and the output report view. To access these connections, select the Canadian S16 design code from the list of available Design Codes on the Solution tab of (Global) Project Settings.
