RISA Employee Spotlight: Deissy Flores

Deissy Flores is a Customer Success Specialist at RISA, where she helps customers feel supported, confident, and heard as they work with RISA software. With a background spanning both Support and Sales, Deissy brings a well-rounded perspective to Customer Success—one rooted in problem-solving, empathy, and clear communication.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Colgate University, a background that supports her strength in communication and understanding customer needs. Before joining RISA, Deissy worked in customer-facing roles across Support and Sales, eventually finding that Customer Success was the ideal blend of problem-solving, reassurance, and relationship-building.

In her current role, Deissy enjoys getting to know customers and learning what helps improve their overall experience. “I’m excited that I can help make someone’s life less stressful,” she shares. She also values RISA’s focus on continuous training and re-training, noting that ongoing learning is key to growing and thriving in any role.

Outside of work, Deissy enjoys reading, writing, and painting, as well as watching movies and shows—especially when they come highly recommended. She also loves spending time outdoors in Dallas, whether that’s sitting by a pool, going for walks, or soaking up the sun. Currently in her Netflix queue are the new Frankenstein movie, along with crime titles like The Staircase and Love and Death.

When I was a kid I always wanted to be an actor.
