RISA-3D Training - Irvine, CA - June 22-24, 2020

The RISA-3D training classes are a great way to receive instruction from the RISA experts while working on real-world examples that allow you to quickly master RISA software, take advantage of the latest features, streamline engineering and tackle modeling complexities.

This three-day comprehensive RISA-3D training will be held at the Hyatt House Irvine in Irvine, CA on June 22-24, 2020 and includes the following classes:

Importing a DXF File into RISA-3D

RISA-3D allows users to import dxf files directly from software like AutoCAD, Microstation and ArchiCAD. Upon import, the files can be used either as a dxf underlay, giving the user the ability to trace complex geometry in RISA-3D or as a direct import in order to convert members and plates into native RISA-3D elements. LIVE ONLINE TRAINING: Introducing the RISA-3D Quick Start Course

The Quick Start Course is a 4-hour introduction to the basic features and functionality of RISA-3D that utilizes expert instruction and example models to familiarize users with the user interface as well as the main workflow of modeling, loading, analyzing, designing and documenting a model in RISA-3D. Spread out over 2-days (with optional office hour sessions) the course is aimed at users who are new to RISA-3D, however, the tips and tricks provided by the instructor during the session can prove valuable to even the most proficient user. RISA-3D v18.0.3 Released

Over the last few weeks, we have been working hard to add the features and functionality that our customers have requested as well fix some of the issues that have been reported. With that in mind, we have prepared a new update of RISA-3D (v18.0.3) that includes the following features as well as other enhancements: Added the ability to import a DXF drawing grid Added the ability to quickly switch your model into '2D Mode' Added the ability to run the program in demonstration mode Added the ability to print an individual spreadsheet Added the ability to Append one model into another model Version 18.0.3 also includes the ability to utilize '2D mode'. 2D mode automatically fixes all nodes in the Z direction allowing for a 2D approach to analysis for any model.
